Applications should be submitted through the website at https://ee.ntu.edu.tw/eeoffice/ntueejob/, and a softcopy of the following application materials should be emailed to deptee@ntu.edu.tw by March 31, 2025.

  1. Cover letter, including rank of position and expected on-board date
  2. A curriculum vitae with a full publication list and a teaching and research plan
  3. Up to 5 recent publications (including major publications within 5 years and additional publications within 7 years)
  4. Two or more reference letters (should be separately emailed to deptee@ntu.edu.tw by referees)
  5. Ph.D. degree certificate (or an original certificate of expected graduation)
  6. Undergraduate and graduate transcripts.

The employment starting date is Feb. 1st. 2026.

All ranks of professors are compensated in accordance with the standard set forth by the Ministry of Education. The Graduate Institute of Electronics Engineering (GIEE) at National Taiwan University is seeking outstanding candidates to join our dynamic and diverse team of faculty members. We invite applications for full-time, tenure-track positions at all ranks (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor) in the field of Electronics Engineering.

Position Overview:

The successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Conduct cutting-edge research in various subfields of electronics engineering, including but not limited to:
    • Advanced CMOS, Nanoelectronics, Nanophotonics, Display, Memory Technologies, Quantum Technologies, Bioelectronics, IoT Devices, Power and High-Frequency Devices
    • SoC Design (AI/ML Chips, Embedded Processor/Memory Design, Green/Medical Electronics, Sensor Electronics, THz Circuits, Circuits and Systems for Quantum Computation, Si Photonics), Hardware Security, Dependable and Trusted Hardware Architecture
    • Electronic Design Automation (EDA), Embedded System, Testing
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in electronics engineering and related subjects.
  • Supervise and mentor students in their academic and research pursuits.
  • Contribute to the development of the department's academic programs and curriculum.
  • Participate in service to the university, profession, and community.
